About the Competition

Innovative Handmade Globe Making Competition – July 2026 "Shape the Globe, Understand the World"

SPAKT’s Globe Making Competition invites students from Classes 5 to 12 across Mumbai to build a handmade globe and explore the world through creativity, geography, and independent research. Students choose a theme, research it, and bring it to life on a handmade globe — going beyond textbooks in a fun and engaging way.

Categories & Themes

Participants may choose any one theme from their category as inspiration for their globe!

Junior Category

Classes 5 to 8 · ₹125 entry fee

Senior Category

Classes 9 to 12 · ₹125 entry fee

Prizes & Recognition

Every participant receives a Certificate of Participation.  Selected entries will be featured on the SPAKT website and social media platforms. Bonus points awarded for use of recycled or sustainable materials.

Registration Opens

Register using the form and pay ₹125 entry fee via UPI.

Last Date of Registration - 15 July 2026

All registrations must be completed by midnight.

Submission Deadline - 31 July 2026

Submit photos, video, and project report online

Results & Awards 🇮🇳 - 15 Aug 2026

Winners announced on Independence Day.

How to Submit Your Globe

All submissions are fully online. No physical dispatch of globes required.

Make your globe using a plastic ball (6–9 inches diameter). Draw, colour, and label by hand based on your chosen theme.

Click 5 stage-wise photos showing your progress. Save as JPEG. Write a brief description for each photo.

Record one video (with visible timestamp) presenting your globe and explaining your chosen theme. 📷 Download Timestamp Camera App

Prepare a short project report describing your globe and the theme you selected.

Upload all materials via the submission link that will be shared after registration is confirmed.
